News & Announcements:

04/30/12 - Eighteen boats came out to Lake Waccamaw to make for our best turnout yet this season. The rain stayed off of us once the fishing started and the fish cooperated as well. This was the second time every single boat weighed fish and the first time every boat weighed in multiple fish. Congratulations to everyone!

A total of 15 limits were caught and the biggest one went to Tom Elliott and Jared Elliott. They weighed 16.8 pounds for their second Backlash win in a row. Tom is back on the trail and fishing hard trying to win the Angler of the Year award.

In second place was Jeremy Sullivan and Jamie Pierce with 14.9 pounds. They kept going all day upgrading fish all day to the very end demonstrating they are always a team to watch out for no matter what piece of water we are on.

Third place was the new team of Brett Norris and Jonathon Soles with 13.86 pounds. We always welcome competitive fisherman to the Team Backlash Trail and hope to see more of these guys out on the water.

Never to be outdone, other people’s home water or not was Neil Smith and Jimmy Roughton with the tournament’s Big Fish weighing 5.36 pounds.

Next we are going to Sutton Lake on May 26th; another place where the fish always bite. Remember, we do all this for fun and enjoy fishing with all of you so respect each other out there on the water so we all have fun.

To register for Team Backlash's next tournament please contact Dan Siuta or Richard Sitter. When we receive your entry fee you will then be given a boat number.
